EXPERIMENTA. THE OTHER PHOTOGRAPHY

Since the first half of the 20th century, photography has become a powerful means through which artists such as Florence Henri, Man Ray, László Moholy-Nagy, and many others have proposed new visions of reality. Through observation, analysis, and questioning, photography has explored scientific, cultural, and social dimensions—not only of objects and subjects, but also of the role and deeper meaning of the photographic act itself.

With the advent of the digital world, its applications, and its operational transversality, new techniques, processes, and conceptual approaches to the “writing of light” continue to evolve. Contemporary experimental photography proposes new languages and aesthetics through which the experience of the individual, their relationship with the environment, and the ways in which reality is perceived can be reconsidered.

Within this context, a photograph from the Connection project has been selected for Experimenta. The Other Photography, an international group exhibition curated by LoosenArt. The work is among the selected artworks chosen from 1,398 submissions, exploring experimental approaches to photography and the expanded possibilities of the medium.

The selected photograph from Connection reflects on memory, consciousness, and the invisible spaces of human experience. It considers photography not simply as a representation of visible reality, but as a means of exploring perception, memory, and the inner world.
