SPEAK UP, BE HEARD
INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
From 19 August to 2 September 2023, the Speak Up, Be Heard international photography exhibition was presented at the Alliance Française in Ibadan, Nigeria.
Curated by Nseabasi Akpan, the exhibition brought together photographic works by artists from different countries, creating a space for visual expression, dialogue, and the exchange of perspectives.
The exhibition featured the photographic series We Are Nature I, presented alongside works by other international artists.
Organised with the support of the French Institute in Ibadan, Speak Up, Be Heard highlighted the ability of photography to communicate ideas, experiences, and different ways of seeing the world across cultural and geographical boundaries.
